What is TikTok Shoppable Content?

TikTok is a place where entertainment meets commerce, allowing creators to authentically engage with their community and consumers to be entertained throughout their entire shopping experience.

Types of Shoppable Content

Product Showcase

The product showcase adds a shopping tab or shopping bag icon to your TikTok profile where viewers can directly shop from your curated collection of products.

Clicking on a product within that tab will then direct shoppers to the Product Display Page where users can browse and shop products in just a few taps.

Finally, selecting a product leads users to the Product Selection Page, which takes users from product discovery to purchase all while never leaving the TikTok app.

Shoppable Videos

Shoppable short videos offer a solution for creators to add products within the videos in an organic and creative way.

Clicking the product anchor via the yellow shopping bag icon at the bottom left of a video will direct shoppers to the Product Detail Page and Product Selection Page, which highlights the product details and prompts users to checkout seamlessly.

Live Shopping

LIVE Shopping allows creators to seamlessly integrate products from their TikTok Shop into a LIVE streaming session.

This lets creators connect and engage with their audiences in real time and helps users buy what they discover while watching a merchant’s livestream. LIVE Shopping gives users more opportunities to learn and ask questions about products, engage with creators to build trust and connection, and shop directly from the brand.

Within LIVE Shopping streams on TikTok, creators can pin product cards to the bottom of their streams to guide users to purchase in-app.
